Laura's love for working in activities started as a child working alongside her Mom as an Activities Director. From summer camps to daycare programs, she was always involved and cherished it! Most recently Laura has been volunteering as a mentor, in food banks and homeless shelters. "It brings me great joy helping others. Over the years I have learned to stop and savor the moment, taking the time to get to know people. With that one simple change I figured out what life is really about, people. That’s how I know this career is tailor made for me, it’s about our residents," Laura said.
Laura brings many years of expertise and passion, which will richly enhance the lives of our residents by encouraging them to continue to live to their fullest potential, both psycho-socially and physically. "I am privileged to be part of the Desert Flower family and look forward to working with all current and future residents and staff," said Laura.
